<bio>Hi! My name is Jenna Violette, and I’m a first-year graduate student in the Kinesiology program at Utah State University. I’m also a new Graduate Assistant, working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for Dr. Phillip Waite in HEP 3600: Functions of Community and Public Health. I also teach Lifetime Activities courses, including Jog/Walk, Weightlifting, and Beginning Volleyball.

I chose to continue my education in Kinesiology because I’ve always been interested in exercise, human performance, and how movement can impact people’s health and everyday lives. I’m especially interested in sport science and hope to pursue a career as a sport scientist. Currently, I work as the Sport Science Coordinator for Utah State Football under the team’s sport scientist, which has given me the opportunity to learn more about the field and put what I’ve learned into practice.

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona, but Utah State has solidified its place as my home over the last few years. I’m so excited to continue my education here at USU and to have the opportunity to assist others with their academic journey as well.</bio>
