Hey! My name is Sydney Hollingshead, but I’ve always just been Syd. I am a senior studying Psychology with minors in HDFS, Mental Health Advocacy and Awareness and an emphasis in Disability Studies. I have always wanted to be a part of something bigger than myself, specifically through something that provides aid, comfort, and, most importantly, connection.
When I first began pursuing my education, I knew I was in the right place because of the amazing opportunities I have had through being connected to the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences. I am beyond ecstatic to serve you as your CEHHS Senator! As I represent you, I want you to feel aided, comforted, and, most importantly, connected to our university, our college, and our community.
In the spirit of getting to know me a little better, here are a few things about me: I am BIG on music, I love baseball (go Dodgers!!), and I absolutely love the fall. I am so proud to be an Aggie, and I will never turn down a late Maverick run because I LOVE a bev.
I am so excited for this next year, and I want us to accomplish great things together. The first step in doing that is getting to know YOU. Your voice matters. You matter.
