Registered Nurse (RN Pre-licensure)

Offered in Blanding, Moab, Price, Tooele, and Uintah Basin

This two-semester associate of applied science degree program teaches students how to coordinate the care of patients in a variety of healthcare settings, administer medications and treatments, instruct patients, and promote health. Students enrolled in the associate of applied science program have a curriculum of study that includes medical-surgical, mental health, and family health nursing, pharmacology, pathophysiology principles and concepts, professional attributes, and care competencies and skills. Upon passing, graduates can qualify for positions as entry-level registered nurses (RNs).
