CEHHS Staff Awards

Only one nomination per award will be accepted per department or unit. Please work with your department head/center director and unit awards committee to coordinate submissions.

Distinguished Staff Award

This award recognizes an exceptional individual who positively impacts their programs and the college through excellence in service and support.

Submission materials: Paragraph from nominator and/or departmental awards committee on why this candidate is being put forward describing why they are a strong candidate for the award.

Outstanding Service to Students Award

This award recognizes a staff member that goes above and beyond in supporting student growth, well-being, and success.

Submission materials: Paragraph from nominator and/or departmental awards committee on why this candidate is being put forward including how this candidate has impacted USU students.

Strong Human Services Award

This award recognizes an outstanding faculty or staff member for significant and sustained leadership in human services, applying research to improve the lives of children or adults. The award also recognizes cross-college and interdisciplinary efforts in human services, with leadership coming from a CEHHS faculty or staff member.
Criteria:

  • Leadership for at least 1 externally funded, significant project in which research findings have helped to improve the lives of children or adults
  • A minimum of 5 years of sustained contribution to the CEHHS and USU communities and not a recipient of this award for the past 7 years.

Submission materials: CV, paragraph from nominator and/or departmental awards committee on why this candidate is being put forward, and a brief statement from the candidate describing why they are a strong candidate for the award. The statement should include items that are not easily recognized from the CV.
